"You should have fled this town when you had the chance. It's growth is quicker than I thought, now it's even bringing in Familiars and underlings." Carol said, in a yellow hoodie with black stripes and her same black boots. She had a fancy arm bracelet.
"You were right okay, that much was obvious now. But I cannot run, or don't think I can anymore. I don't know where I can go so can you atleast, please tell me what's going on? So that I can h-"
"Sssh." Carol silenced him at once, hushing him and urging to stroll closely. They huddled around the school yard before she told him to take cover. A trembling shook the ground, and a large disk of air and neon colors opened into the sky closeby right at the room of the school. A portal of sorts had opened, and a large entity slowly crept out.
"What, in hells name is THAT?" John asked, trying to find some place to flee.
He settled behind a bush and got situated. Carol gave her Bracelet a twist, her hair taking on it's bi-symmetrical black-white coloring as her red outline returned, this time looking more fiery than before. She tossed him a blue ball, which upon catch expanded into a shield. "A Familiar. Hold onto that and stay back. You're going to need to."
