Sarah quickly drove to John's place, confused what he was going on about. Why was he so panicked, a student taking over, spirits or monsters infecting the school? It sure seemed like a lot of silly nonsense, but she was his good friend she figured she'd go to help him out and see what the fuss was about.
As John sat on the curb of the parking lot at almost 2 AM, he had his backpack and inventions all stored away with him for an extended trip. Sarah's car pulled over he sighed a breath of relief. The door opened and he was ready to get in the passenger seat and drive away with her until he could find a solution, or let Carol offer one since she was so confident in herself.
However his hope for escape was short lived, dashed like an Olympic Sprinter the moment he saw her wide, positively peppy, perpetually happy smile.
"How do you like my hair Johnny? I dyed it just earlier tonight, ain't it quirky? Well, what are you waiting for, get in! That's what you wanted right, geesh one could swear you'd seen a ghost. It's me, your friend Sarah remember?"
John covered his mouth, and gradually began stepping back bit by bit.
