"Jane, Isis?" John shook his head. Was that what the teacher had just said? He raised his hand, against his better judgement and asked the teacher to repeat her/his name.
"Didn't you listen the first time Johnathon? I said our new student's name is Cammi Aisles?"
"W-what?" John repeated confused. He observed the smiling red-headed student, her freaky smile looking like it could light up a thousand Christmas Trees and than some. Something had seemed oddly, surreal about her. He couldn't put his tongue on it, it was a 'good' vibe, like seeing the cutest, happiest or perkiest looking person ever and wanting to be with them, but when he shook his head that feeling dissipated into... horror. A horror he couldn't place into words or understanding, just looking at this happy new student.
"I told you already, now stop asking. Karon Aisely, please take your seat next to John, our lesson is about to begin so get situated."
The redhead nodded and with a smile rearing itself with delirium, approached John and sat flat beside him, waving and smiling."
John grumbled for a moment but held his tongue.
