While Claire was being assaulted and converted into another Penny outside, her husband was in their bedroom, getting ready for his daily jog. After putting on his shorts, t-shirt and running shoes Patrick Stevens made his way downstairs and into the kitchen to grab some water and a towel to go. It was then that he saw Claire's lunch sitting on the kitchen counter.
Patrick thought to himself, "That hospital works Claire too hard. Just because someone couldn't bother to look at a schedule, it becomes her problem. They make her drop everything and get there ASAP. She must have been in a big rush in order to forgot her lunch like this"
He then noticed that Claire's car was in the driveway.
Thinking he could still catch her before she pulled away he threw his towel around his neck, grabbed his water and the decorative insulated lunch bag off of the counter, and ran outside. When he made it to her car, he looked around in confusion. There was Claire's car - doors locked and engine off - but no sign of his wife anywhere. He called out her name but there was no response. However, as he was calling out for his wife, he noticed he had gained the attention of the occupants of a car parked in the street in front of his house. As he squinted to see inside the parked car better, he noticed it contained three identically beautiful women and a man that looked slightly familiar to Patrick. However, Patrick was not sure why this man looked familiar.
