That was when I remembered what Aiden had told me. He did not want to go out when it was dark outside because the most dangerous people tended to come out. If it was the case, I could probably capture a prisoner to test the drug on. It was raining outside when I started walking around the bad parts of town I had a rain jacket, but it did not have a hood. I was moving along when a flash of lightning scared me. It hit the lamp post a few yards in front of me, That sent me scrambling half blind into the alley to my left. I went until I found a dead end. It was there that I crouched down and began rubbing at my eyes. That was rough. A white blur was obscuring my vision. I already regretted leaving the motel room. Sighing, I made it to my feet. I was done with my plan to catch someone. I was more likely to get caught at this point. Cutting my losses here made the most sense. Just as I was thinking that, I heard footsteps. I turned around to see there were two guys coming towards me. One was blond. The other had long black hair. "Looks like we got ourselves fresh meat here." the blond said.
Since there were two of them here, I really had to be on my guard. Luckily, my vision had fully cleared. The black haired guy just whistled at me. "Looks like eggs are on the menu tonight." he smirked. "I'm not a fucking layer." I lied. There was no way to tell whether they knew this for a fact or they were bluffing. They just laughed at me. I did not know why that was so funny. "Of course we know. Look at your hips! All you layer guys need some help getting out those bigger eggs. Not as much as girls have, but enough to tell." I looked down and I guessed that they were a bit larger than what would be normal for a guy of my physique. I sucked my teeth. "Just let me go home guys. This is a life or death type of thing here." I said seriously. They just shared a look and smiled at each other. Both of them came closer to me. It certainly looked very menacing. "I don't think we're going to be doing that." I heard the black haired guy say. The blond added "If you are scared, you can just come quietly. No one has to die here." They both went hostile to me. I had to fight them. I was pretty strong from leveling.
