I went with him to the office to make sure he was able to buy a room. He got it and we were down the hall from each other. That was something that Aiden needed to do for himself. I actually got 500 exp. for it. I was now Level 5 in the game. That was really good. It meant that I was getting stronger and stronger. I went to Old Kipler to see what jobs he would have for me. It was a good mix of delivering packages with things inside and waiting around for people to hand me envelopes to bring back to the old man. I was doing that for a bit before returning to Aiden's apartment. I told him that I could keep his eggs for him. He looked at me funny. "Are you trying to take all the money from the fence!?" he asked. I shook my head. "I'm not. You're going to have to believe me here, but this is all for a great life. My friend's life is at stake." Aiden just looked at me for a moment. He then sighed and said "I don't know. I can give you one egg tomorrow, but I still need money to get me on my feet." I was able to procure a bonus egg for Ivan's quest. When I got the egg, I put them with the others in the fridge.

With that, we had seven eggs out of the ten. I just had to lay the two for today. There were still four days left. I could finish the quota by myself in two days if needed. Ivan better had been doing his share. I called him up after the eggs were laid. "Hey." he said when he picked up the phone. "Don't 'hey' me. How many eggs do you have in your house?" He groaned and said "Huh? I have... two. I told you already. I don't lay every single damn day! What the hell is this about?" He sounded like he was tired. It was late at night. "Come meet me in my motel room in my room. We have to talk about what we're going to do when we have them all." He groaned and said "Yeah. I get it already. I'll come by. Good night!" Ivan then hung up the phone. I just rolled my eyes at that. When the morning came, he called me back. I had to give him my address first. When he came over, Ivan's eggs were in a red duffel bag. I showed him the eggs in the fridge. His eyes widened. "We just need three more eggs. We will be able to get it in two days. I need to know about this guy. How are we getting that picture back?"

That got his attention for real. "He's a fucking punk from the same gang as we are. I got caught out after a party at someone's house. We were drunk and fucking around together. It was not until the next day that asshole pushed the pic in my face. He took it with his phone." I was unimpressed by the story. "How are we going to get that asshole to delete that picture? It's on his phone." I asked. He looked at me. "I don't know about that. He said if we can get him 10 eggs, he'd delete it." Ivan admitted. The difficulty was certainly high. I just sighed and said "You go in and give the eggs. Get him to delete it. If he messes around, you come get me. Then we'll beat his ass and take his phone." That was the best plan that we could do. It was not like we were ready to murder some guy. Especially if it was a member in Ivan's gang. This was a big deal. His personal beef was already risking a whole lot for him. If things went wrong, he could be turned on by everyone he knows. Layers were not treated well in the criminal underground. If he was in a gang, it would be too easy for something to happen.
