As she exited the house, Jennifer was surprised to see Karyn standing on the walkway, apparently waiting for her. Jennifer took a few moments to examine her friend.
Karyn stood slightly taller than herself, at around 5'6". Her head was covered by long, silky strands of dark red hair, which framed her beautiful face very nicely. Her eyes were light green color, her lips were soft and inviting. Her body had curves in all the right places and she seemed to have C-cup breasts. Karyn was dressed in light blue jeans with brown belt and a really nice looking purple blouse. On top of that she wore a short black leather jacket. Her clothes flattered her figure nicely and she was carrying a school bag over her shoulder. On her wrist she wore a nice bracelet and around her neck she was wearing a really nice silver angel pendant.
Karyn looked over as she saw Jennifer walk out of house and walked closer to her, looking her over. She offered Jennifer a warm smile "Looking really nice, Jen." Before Jennifer could do or say anything Karyn closed what little distance there was and leaned forward, her lips catching Jennifer's into a kiss. All thoughts escaped Jennifer's mind as she felt her body naturally responding to the kiss, deepening it as some memories rushed into her mind.
~Flashback~
It was a dark night and both Karyn and Jennifer were sitting in a park, leaning back on a bench as they admired fireworks painting the sky in various bright colors in the distance. The town had a festival and both of them spent it together. Jennifer admired the show happily "It is so beautiful~" she exclaimed, not really noticing how her friend spent the time admiring her instead.
Karyn smiled slightly "It is." she said and after a pause continued "You know, there was something that I wanted to do for a while now." she said, making Jennifer to turn her attention towards her, tilting her head to a side.
"Like what?" she asked curiously and Karyn smirked.
"This." she then quickly leaned forward, capturing Jennifer's lips. At first Jennifer was surprised, but a moment later she eagerly answered the kiss. That night was when the two became girlfriends.

A few days later Jennifer and Karyn were standing before Jennifer's parents and Jennifer proudly proclaimed Karyn as her girlfriend, wrapping her arm around Karyn's waist and pulling them close together.
There was silence for a few brief moments and then Zoe broke it "About damn time! It was sooooo obvious you two liked each other. You two dancing around the issue was honestly driving me crazy. You are so oblivious sis, I swear to god." she said to Jennifer who blushed.
"Zoe!"
Zoe just grinned "It is true! Anyways, congratulations. By the way, Jacob - pay up." she extended her hand towards her younger brother who with a grumble gave her some money. Jennifer rose an eyebrow at that and Jacob groaned.
"I bet that you will be first to kiss Karyn. Obviously I lost, thanks a lot, sis." he said, but smiled "Congratulations, you two."
Jennifer's father and mother congratulated the two girls as well.
"I am really happy for you two. You are such a cute couple." Jennifer's mother gushed.
Jennifer's father grinned "I figured long ago that you are different, angel, but I don't care. I am happy for the both of you." he then looked at Karyn "If you break her heart, I will make sure you regret it." he threatened Karyn who smiled and kissed her girlfriend on a cheek briefly.
"Never, mister Adam. I love her too much." she said, looking at Jennifer. Jennifer looked back and smiled.
"I love you too, Karyn." she then leaned in and kissed her girlfriend. They were interrupted moments later by Zoe's comment "Get a room, you two!" which made whole family laugh and the two girls blush.

Jennifer and Karyn stood before Karyn's parents this time and Karyn proudly proclaimed Jennifer her girlfriend. Both of Karyn's parents congratulated the two.

Jennifer got out of her kiss-induced daze as Karyn ended the kiss, smirking slightly "Good morning~" she greeted with a chirpy voice and Jennifer just nodded, dumbly.
"Morning." she said back, her mind still trying to comprehend what happened.
"What. The. Fuck?! Karyn is my girlfriend?! I am Karyn's girlfriend?! How the hell did THAT happen?! Wait, I know HOW it happened. I mean. What. The. Actual. FUCK?! Ritual made us girlfriends? Well, not that I am complaining, I mean - Karyn is so beautiful and adorable and sexy and I always liked her more than a friend and oh god... She is looking at me with such adorable gaze, now I just want to kiss her a... No, snap out of it Jen! Breath! This is fine. Yes. It is fine. Karyn is your sexy redheaded girlfriend. Which you can kiss. At any time. Your parents are fine with it. Her parents are fine with it. Your siblings are fine with it and enjoy teasing you for it. It. Is. Fine. More than it. It is absolutely fucking amazing. By god, I am sooo buying Helia something nice for this. And Karyn is waving a hand in front of my face. I should say something. Or kiss her again, maybe..." Jennifer snapped out of her thoughts as Karyn kept waving her hand in front of her.
"Hellooooo. Jen? Is anyone home? Not that I don't like bragging rights for kissing my girlfriend stupid, and I am totally bragging about this later, but I would like my girlfriend back." she snapped her fingers in front of Jennifer's face and Jennifer giggled.
"Sorry, Karyn. Err... It was really good kiss. I felt bit err... dazed." she came up with excuse.
Karyn grinned "Well, I will be sure to give you another later. We should get going, though. We don't want to be late to school."
Jennifer nodded "Right, let's go." she said and the couple started to walk to school.
As the two walked to school, Jennifer took some time to check her schedule, frowning a little. She was in a different class. She was actually in a grade below than she used to be. She pulled out her purse from her bag and checked her ID. She was younger. Not by full year, only several months, but she has yet to turn eighteen. Actually, her new birthday was coming pretty soon - May 5th. She put her purse back into her bag and looked at Karyn.
"Er, Karyn? Do we have same lessons?" Karyn blinked and looked at Jennifer for a moment.
"Of course we do, silly. We are in same class. Are you feeling okay? You have been acting bit weird today." Jennifer blushed a bit.
"Er... Guess I just had a lot to think about lately so I am a bit absent-minded." she said, while inwardly thinking "So Karyn is bit younger too. Wonder when her new birthday is? Thank god she is in same class, though. That makes me really happy." she thought with a slight blush.
Karyn looked at Jennifer's face for few moments, thinking a bit "Oh... Is this about that part time job you got at mall? I am sure you will be doing fine. Helia seemed like a nice lady." she smirked and continued "And I am sure you will do just fine with your..." she lowered her voice to a whisper "...magic studies. She seemed really eager to start teaching you asap." she smiled "And you know I will support you no matter what. It is going to be fine, don't worry your pretty little head about it." she gave Jennifer a hug.
Jennifer smiled back and gratefully returned it "Thanks, Karyn. You are the best."
Karyn grinned "And you know it."
After that the two girls continued to walk and Jennifer took the chance to think a little. "So, Karyn knows about Helia and magic studies. Figures I would trust my girlfriend with that knowledge. Now that I think about it, I remember how both of us met Helia. Whole thing went similarly to how it went when I was Jon, minus whole torturing myself over decision thing. Helia would have taken Karyn as apprentice too, but sadly Karyn did not have magical potential I do. Wonder if I could change that with the stone..." suddenly her mind went into a halt as she remembered the wishing stone her grandpa left her. "God, the wishing stone... Okay, think, Jennifer. Did the stone exist in this reality? I remember getting inheritance from grandfather. A small jewelry box and a letter. What was inside and what was written in the letter, though?" she tried to remember, but could not "Okay, so can't remember that. Where did I put them, though? I think I remember putting them away in special hiding place in the closet. The jewelry box also had a lock. And a key. I brought key with me." Jennifer remembered small silver key she attached to her key chain. "Okay, so if grandpa sent me wishing stone in this reality - it is there. What about the one from old reality, though? I remember I put it into that pocket dimension... Was it still there?"
Jennifer slipped her hand into her jacket pocket and willed the wishing stone to move from pocket dimension to her palm. She almost froze in her step as she felt the texture of the stone on her hand and willed it back into pocket dimension. "Okay, that answers the question. Now, can two wishing stones exist in same time or did grandpa left something else for me? God, this is giving me a headache... Maybe I should tell Helia about the stone? Obviously, she can alter reality just fine without it, so she likely would not try to take it from me. And... and she deserves to know that it was my wish that made her take me in as apprentice..." she frowned slightly, thinking about how that conversation would turn out "I will think about it later. We are almost at school."
Putting the stone out of her mind for the moment Jennifer together with her girlfriend walked towards the school gate.
