Medicine, prosthetics and cybernetic implants were given and upkept for free. That was great for this downtrodden community. In return, they got up and personal with a huge sample size of humans and all sorts of people, flora and fauna. This made them actually very popular. Some of the people were aware of them being cyborgs and trusted them anyway. Now, the hub had decided to take over another plot of land nearby. The humans in the town came over to help them raise a giant barn. The clan building was then built under it. They said the really want to study the ecosystem and domestication of animals. Probing for all the small strengths and weaknesses of all these practices. That was the specialization that they wanted in the faction. It was certainly something that was worth looking at. Before they all began mating in their six large X-frames, I brought them down to the PEA lab. The cyborgs there perked up when they saw the new clan. They were able to take 6 of them in Erosion Clan. I then explained the mission regime to them and all the benefits. I was put in charge of them all.

Because we had nine weeks to do this, I could space it out. I had 3 squads, so it was very easy to divide up the workload evenly. The Erosion Clan PEA units did the big circuit the first, fourth and seventh weeks. Squad 1 completed them on the second, fifth and eighth weeks. Eta, Theta and Skylar had the third, sixth and ninth weeks. It amounted to 39 missions each under their belts in this period. This put the Researcher faction way at the top for our superior PEA units. No other clans came close. Even more so as Erosion Clan was one of the main 13 clans. The members of the Erosion clan had blue memory nanites. Skylar, our medical officer, had finished 43 missions for the clan. For his hard work, he had achieved the purple nanite rank. Also at the purple rank were Eta and Theta. They had 45 mission done. Squad 1 took the cake though. Our Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon and Zeta each had a whopping 85 successful missions completed. Their memory nanites were now gold and sparkling as a result. I had all of our AEP units get in on this. They got enough nanites for organs.

As the gold nanites had an 100% chance of making a memory card, we had an excess for them. They each got 6 loads of nanites inside them. They made the organs on par with the purebred AEPs. As hybrids they had two of them each. When the Erosion Clan AEP units were born, they were immediately given the blue nanites. This then made their organs function at 160% power. Paul and I made sure to bar Brett from seeing the new AEP units. I did not want him giving them dumb names and designs. It made Magnetic Clan upset. However, this was all a ploy for Paul. He went in and did it himself. When I heard the news in the PEP Lab, I facepalmed. Erosion Clan were not amused, but there was nothing to be done. They had their names. We had done so much for them already. What ground did they have to stand on to criticize us!? In that same vein, I asked them for another big favor. I asked if the male X-frames could mate with two of our pierce and one radioactive X-frames. That way we could welcome three more hybrid units. They agreed as they would not carry them. We would.
