With that thought, Sarah stood up and went over to them. One of her friends asked her where she was going but Sarah ignored them.
“What do you want?” Karyn asked, looking up suspiciously.
“All right,” Sarah said dismissing the question. “What have you done with them?”
“Done with what?” Tiffany asked sounding annoyed by this interruption.
“My short shorts,” Sarah stated blatantly as if it was obvious. She looked at the two girls waiting for an answer, arms folded across her chest.
“Sarah,” Karyn started. “What would we want with your clothes?” She asked obviously confused by the situation.
“Someone switched them with these.” She said gesturing to the capris. “And I figured that if anyone had anything to do with it, then it would be one of you two.” She said angrily.
“Well, I haven’t seen them,” Tiffany said. “And to be honest Sarah,” she added. “I didn’t know that you even owned a pair of shorts. “
Sarah opened her mouth to say something but the bell rang indicating that lunch was over.
“Saved by the bell,” Karyn said getting up. “Come on Tiff-boy, we’ve got to get to class.”
“Fine!” Sarah said as she watched them go. “I’m watching you two though.” She added. Sarah returned to her table to pick up her purse, only to find that it had gone and in its place was a cream colored satchel handbag. Sarah stopped and stared.
“What the hell is going on?” She thought to herself.
