Lisa sat there stunned. It was what she wanted. What she'd hoped for. She tossed her head throwing her hair over her shoulder. She inhaled briefly feeling the material of her shirt slide over her breasts. Her nipples were on fire. this guy in front of her was gorgeous and the longer she stayed here the greatest temptation to run her fingers over his muscles. She got the answer she wanted and it was time to go, but she couldn't quite bring herself to leave yet.
"I am who I am. I'm not changing," she said. There it was. Lisa went quite a bit further than the man had been offering. She didn't graciously accept the "gift" of the identity and life of "Lisa". Instead, she took the far more aggressive stance of saying in effect: "I am Lisa" there is no gift or choice from you. Lisa stood up. Looked the man in the eyes and said, "that isn't negotiable." His face clouded but then cleared into a smile.
"Jack is a very lucky man," he said. Lisa smiled at the implied compliment which almost ruined her "stern face".
Lisa said, "why do you think you have to leave?"
The man cocked his head, "what do you mean?"
Lisa continued, "I'm assuming 'leave town' means go somewhere and start over?" The man didn't respond. Lisa continued, "you've already cut all ties," she waved at his new body as she spoke "so why not 'start over' here. It's not like anyone will recognize you and this way we can stay friends" the man opened his mouth but didn't say anything. Lisa, sensing the momentum was on her side, pushed harder.
She reached out and took his hand in hers, "hi Sean I'm Lisa. Welcome to the neighborhood."
After a moment he gripped her hand and shook back. He chuckled, "nice to meet you, Lisa."
They both laugh for a moment and then a sharp knock interrupted them.
"Open up please ma'am. This is the police."
A thousand different thoughts ran through both Sean and Lisa's minds, but they both reach the same point.
Lisa said, "James!"
Sean said, "that bitch!"
