Sam Ward was having the time of his life. He'd never had jury duty before, and he had anticipated long, boring sessions, filled with legal technicalities that he wouldn't be able to keep up with. Instead, Sam was discovering that he and his fellow jurors were being treated to so many interesting narratives, he could hardly believe it.

Jury duty, it turned out, was far more interesting than his day job. Sam had always loved being a carpenter, building things, working with his hands, seeing projects from beginning to end. Being selected for jury duty, though, was exposing him to so much more than he would have believed possible. Each new witness brought an insight to a world that Sam had never seen before, but he envied more and more.

Neil Winslow, from the car dealership, had done such a great job to introducing the court to the online offerings of Victoria's Secret, Sam could hardly wait to get home that evening to do some browsing of his own. The friendly police officer, Joe Phelps, had inspired Sam to get in better shape and try out one of those new pole dancing classes that he'd heard so much about. The expert witness who the prosecution had paraded up to testify on the mental state of the accused, the one who had begun to say something about narcissism and delusions, but then quickly realized her mistake and explained how generous, kind, and well endowed the accused was, had opened Sam's eyes to who this court case was about.

Lucien Hall.

Sam stared at Lucien from his seat among the jurors, and sighed. He wasn't the only one. Every member of the jury seemed to go all doe-eyed when they looked at Lucien. Not that Sam would blame them. How many times in life could someone get the chance to spend so much time with someone as amazing as Lucien Hall? Sure, he was accused of a pretty bad crime, but from the looks of the evidence, there wasn't really any reason to think that he was guilty. What he was, though, was...

The word didn't come to Sam right away. He wasn't sure how to define what Lucien was. Sam reached down into his purse and pulled out a cucumber as he stared at the man defending himself. As he slipped the vegetable in between his puffy lips and began to absentmindedly suck on it, words flipped through his mind.

Powerful? That wasn't quite right.

Sexy? True, but it was more than that.

Dreamy? Yes! That was it exactly! Lucien Hall was like a dream come true! A dream, Sam knew, that he had never had, but now found was the dream he had always wanted. The scrawny man wearing worn jeans and a hoodie, the one with three-day-old scruff on his face, that man was exactly what Sam had never know he needed in his life, but now knew was what he couldn't live without.

Sam pushed the cucumber in deeper, tickling the back of his throat the way he liked it. His left hand, meanwhile, had slipped beneath his pleated skirt and was pushing his thong aside, giving his fingers access to his moist pussy. The boys at from his construction crew would be so jealous when the found out how much fun jury duty was. As Sam inserted three fingers into his hungry slit, he tried not to think about how short this seemingly open-and-shut case would be, and how he'd be back on the site working with the boys soon. All Sam wanted to do was stay in court forever, stay close to Lucien, the man he'd never met, but the man he wanted so desperately to be close to.
