“Jon?” a voice exclaimed behind the hugging pair. Jon, with his hand in the air holding the box far away from Liz, looked behind him and spotted his sister, Zoe. “Jon, what the **** are you doing?!” she said in an angry whisper. “it's 3AM, and we have school tomorrow!”
At the sound of her voice, Liz let go of Jon, and placed her hand over her mouth in shock. “Zachary....?” she nearly cried. “Is it you?” Liz started taking steps closer to Zoe, momentarily forgetting Jon and the stone. “Jooooon… who is this?” Zoe backed away as she asked this. “And why is she coming towards,me?” not sure what to make of the seemingly crazy girl, Zoe completely forgot her whisper.
Suddenly, the three of them heard a noise from upstairs. “Crap!” Jon said, remembering it was indeed the middle of the night. “I wish..” Jon quickly said pulling the wishing stone out of its box “I wish that everyone in my family would go back to their beds and sleep, and forget about anything that happened down stairs tonight.” Jon quickly added: “Except me!” The stone glowed and then, as if she was in a trance, Zoe closed her eyes and went up the stairs backwards.
