“Not vampire bat?” I retorted, poking my tongue out playfully.
“Pfft,” replied Zoe, “Please, you know I’m all about team werewolf not team vampire.”
“H-hi Zoe, Hi Trevor,” blushed Damian, embarrassed to be caught feeling my new ears by two of the few friends he had other than me.
“Hi,” smiled Zoe.
“Hey,” nodded Trevor, leaning against my doorframe.
“What about you Trev?” I asked.
He sniffed the air and said with a shrug “Not that bothered really; at least you’re a canid, might have had to stop being your friend if you were feline.”
I chuckled at that.
“So,” he continued, “Mind if I have a feel?”
“Go ahead,” I sighed, bending forwards and grimacing as he tweeked them playfully, getting me back for when I’d done the same to him when his had grown in. I noticed him sniffing as he did do and asked “Cold coming?” even though I knew the real reason.
“Nah,” he shook his head, “Its just...are you wearing new deodorant?”
“Nope, why?”
“Just...something...nice smell...”
“Y-you do smell extra nice today Jon,” nodded Damian in support of Trevor.
“It’s a good thing you two aren’t rabbits,” smirked my sister “‘cause my brother sure doesn’t look like Hugh Hefner.” I laughed at that, but the two guys blushed.
“Sorry Trev, but unless you and Day want to share your a little too late,” I laughed. Predictably Damian blushed again, but Trevor blushed even harder and got flustered.
“C’mon man,” snickered Zoe, tugging Trevor’s arm and pulling him off my bed where he’d been kneeling over me, “Let leave the two love foxes to their privacy.” It was my turn to blush, but I gave Damian a smile when he gave my hand a squeeze. Zoe smiled and waved as she pulled a still spluttering Trevor out the door.
