Jon grinned as an idea came to him. “Age up and become my twin brother. New hobby - ballet dancing; Mikey took it up at age three and loved it so much he stuck with it and now is so good that prestigious dance academies are scouting him for when he graduates.”
Showing Karyn the screen he tapped ‘Queued Changes’ and the instructions he’d given were displayed. He tapped ‘Show 3D Model’ and a spinning hourglass appeared for a few seconds while the image rendered. Displaced was a slowly rotating image of a seventeen year old guy dressed in grey tights, and black shorts and tee-shirt. His build was lean and from the scale next to him he looked to be about five six. There was a small icon in the bottom left corner.
“What’s that about?” asked Karyn.
“That shows side effect changes to other people,” replied Jon, “For example, say you made a one year old thirty years older. Then if their mom was twenty five it’d change her to be in her fifties.”
“Should we check it out?” asked Karyn.
Jon thought for a moment. That would be the safe option, but maybe leaving those side effects unseen until after reality was altered would be more fun. Besides, they could always use the stone to undo anything bad. Making his decision Jon just grinned and hit ‘Save’.
