Dead air returned to the kitchen as the imp's head finished moving from the impact of the flying. Rick. Zach looked around to see who had thrown it, but no one that wasn't frozen in time was there. Despite the numberous bodies in the room, he was all alone in the kitchen.
"I don't have any idea what happened just now or really for the past day," Zach thought, "but I'm glad it's over now!"
That was when the black out happened. The kitchen was gone, every chef and worker was gone, and the dead monster was gone. Everything and everyone vanished around Zach. In its place was a black void. He could see his body just fine, but all around him was darkness. Zach had no idea where he was, but he was terrified.
"Am I dead?" Zach thought out loud.
"You're not dead," a voice in the darkness responded, "you're being sent to another realm."
"Who said that? Where are you? I know you're the brick throwing voice from earlier!"
"Calm down. You'll know more soon enough."
Before Zach could yell any further, the darkness faded away. He now found himself sitting on a wooden stool. The surroundings resembled that of a large library. There were dozens of the largest bookshelves he had ever seen. They seemed to span for miles. There seemed to be no walls in sight, with the exception of the red wall directly behind Zach. Above his head were giant orbs that were glowing different colors with the exception of one that was plain white.
"Well...," Zach began to speak, "I guess this is better than the black voice."
