As the hot oil hit the into in the face, the monster began to screech as it stopped in its place. The sound of sizzling oil burning the flesh off the imp was not pleasant. Neither was the smell of burning flesh, which reeked like a burning bag of trash. Zach considered bolting out the door, but he knew this would not provide him with enough time to escape. That's when Zach noticed the small fire from the stove the pan was sitting on was still lit.
"Burns," The imp cried, "Everything burning!"
Swiping a rag from a nearby counter, Zach placed half of it in into the fire. It seemed that holding the objects made them no longer still in time, as the fire touching the rag began to move again which caused the rag to smoke up and catch fire. After pulling it out, the fire froze again. Zach didn't worry too much about details, as he immediately threw the rag towards the gremlin's face.
"What now," the creature barked. It smelled the smoke coming toward it far too late, as the burning rag landed on top of its bald head. Fire spread quickly across its already burn covered face as it screamed harder than ever before. "Burns!" the flaming monstrosity shrieked.
Zach took several steps back as the creature jumped into a sink. What it did not realize is that the grease fire currently engulfing it cannot be removed through conventional means. Because water and oil don't mix, water instantly evaporates causing oil to spread further. The burning beast would learn this the hard way as touching the faucet made it work, only to cause the flames to raise to the roof of the room and spread all over its body.
"Yeah," Zach yelled, "hope you like being deep fried!"
