It was thanks to great time management and not having a magic rock to be distracted by that Zach was able to make it to Cheesy's first. Cheesy's was in Zach's opinion the best place in town to have pizza. Tim and Zach would often eat here with a couple of other friends and split a half cheese half pepperoni pizza since Tim was never the biggest fan of toppings.
Zach managed to grab a booth after telling the hostess in the front that he had three other people meeting him there. It should not take that much time before he would see Karyn, Jon, and someone claiming to be Timothea. Normally, Zach would have checked through his social media channels while he was waiting, but he knew they would be filled with fake posts by whoever else is in one this bit. No use in being tricked further by whoever was behind this well done goof. Besides, he had plenty of phone games to distract himself with too if he really needed to.
"I really need to know whoever is behind this prank," Zach thought, "Because this is honestly the most elaborate prank I've ever seen. Maybe this is like some hidden camera show considering they were able to make such quick changes to my Facebook feed."
In the corner of his eye, Zach could finally see Karyn and Jon enter the restaurant with another figure he could not recognize. She looked like a girl old enough to be in their class, but she was too far away to really examine her face. Zach guessed this was probably the "Timothea" girl that replaced Tim on his phone. She certainly was dressed in similar clothes Tim would wear.
Wanting to break the ice fast, Zach waved his arm to see if he could catch their attention. To his surprise, it was the unfamiliar girl who seemed to recognize him instantly and walked over to the booth with Jon and Karyn.
"Hey Zach," Timothea chirped, "Thanks for saving a spot for us!" The girl slid into the booth and sat right next to Zach. Zach was feeling shocked by the close resemblance this girl had to Tim that his brain did not have much time to react properly.
"Uh... yeah sure. Anytime," Zach confusingly stated. His idea of playing along was increasingly becoming impossible for him.
