"All right Karyn," Jon said, "Put the rock back in the center. It's my turn. "
But Karyn did not want to give up the rock. She could not understand why, but she started to feel an intense urge to make more wishes. Karyn knew this wasn't in character for her to be so clingy about objects, especially items that don't belong to her, but this felt different. With that rock, she could do so much.
All Karyn needed to do was make Jon more complaint to her wishing desires. No need to change him entirely, just make him more open to letting go scratching that magic itch.
"You know Jon," Karyn said, "I just wish that you would be okay with me making as many wishes as I want."
Jon were in a daze for a moment before snapping out of his trance. He suddenly did not feel as eager to get the stone out of his friend's hand.
"Actually, why don't you make another wish Karyn," Jon said, "Yours was much better than mine."
"Well when you put it that way," Karyn said, "I guess I better make a few more." Karyn smirked as she stared at the rock. She knew she couldn't hog it forever, but the thrill of changing life itself with magic was too much to resist right now.
"Just don't forget," Jon blurred out, "We gotta pick up... whoever Tim is now in an hour."
"I guess we better have plenty of fun before then," Karyn acknowledged.
