Jon trotted off in the direction of the school, rehashing the idea of seeing what things were like from Sarah's perspective. On the way he saw a couple of goths and recognised them as his sister Zoe's friends, Athena and Trevor. Curious to see their reaction, he slowed his pace and strutted past. As he did so, he noticed them watching him cagily, with slight sneers on their faces.
"Humph," he said, playing the part of Sarah and stuck his nose in the air.
"Slut," coughed Trevor behind Jon's back.
"Yeah," laughed Athena, "Bet she's running out of guys by now."
"Good news for you," ribbed Trevor "Maybe she'll start on the girls at school next."
"Pfft," replied Athena, "As if I'd go out with a stuck up bitch like that."
Jon stumbled in surprise, glad that he had his back to them so that they couldn't see his expression of shock over their comments. Intellectually he new they were directed at Sarah, not him, but he still felt their harshness. Accessing Sarah's memories and feelings made him even more shocked...
