Jon yawned, stretching. He glanced around at the unfamiliar surroundings in confusion for a few seconds before it all came back to him.
"Stupid Sarah and her stupid wishes," he grumbled, sitting up. His eyes were drawn to the stone laying next to him on the bed, and a grin spread across his face. He reached for it thinking about what changes to make first.
"Okay," he said thoughtfully, "First things first, I wish I had access to all Sarah's memories whenever I wanted and/or needed them." His vision blurred for a second and then cleared, but he felt no different. Concentrating on a teddy bear sitting on the bedside table, the memories came to him, how it was a present Biff had got him on their first date...had got Sarah! he corrected himself. "Okay, second," he added hastily "I wish they'd be distinct from me and not alter my mind like they just did." He stood up and stretched.
"Then again..." He mused, "No..no..better yet...Next wish - I wish that no one would notice if I do something un-Sarahy." No need to accidentally wish myself into acting like her, he thought to himself.
He chewed his lip thoughtfully.
"Now I wish that the McMillan's were away on vacation for a few weeks, leaving 'me' home so 'I' could still go to school...oh and they're out of touch so can't phone to check in or anything."
He stood looking at his reflection for a few minutes.
"Last wish for now," he said, realising the flaw in him living Sarah's life while she lived his unaware "I wish Karyn would be aware of the wishes Sarah made last night and the ones I've made just now."
