After I got home from school, I couldn't stop thinking about Karyn and the change she went through earlier with that wish which she really didn't think about.
The thought of changing my body was one I have been deliberating about for awhile. The idea excited me. With the stone in my grasp, I could do anything I wanted; even the impossible fetishes I've had which I accepted would never happen.
Woah there Jon, calm down. I thought to myself I need to take this slowly or not at all.
I don't want to end up in some messed up reality in which I can't return stuff back to normal.
I took a breath and calmed down a bit. "I need to think of a way to do this." I said calmly and quietly.
Shapeshifting had been something I had thought about for a while. It seemed like the best way to go about everything I wanted to do. My only problem at this point was the fact that having the stone... meant that all of this seemed trivial and pointless. It's like playing a game at a friends house, then wanting to own the game yourself. When you actually get the game, it's disappointing compared to when you played it at your friends house.
The ability to do anything and everything bored me.
Then I had an idea!
With the little smooth stone held firmly in my palm I said confidently.
"I wish that I have the ability to shapeshift. But I'm not very good at it at first. I wish the more I try and the more I shapeshift the better I will be at doing it, in theory. I also wish that the stone will disappear along with all memory of it from Karyn and I for as long as I'm not satisfied with my ability to shapeshift. With that I wish that I will wake up tomorrow and accidentally discover my new power." I said triumphantly.
Wait... what did I just say?
My arm was outstretched as if I was holding something...
What was I doing?
After standing there for a moment I thought to myself "Must have been nothing." and shrugged it off. Little did I know what I had done.
