Jon came early to school the next morning. Class didn't start for another hour. He called Karyn and the others to come as well, giving Stacy and Patrick their memories back (at least for a little bit). He reserved a room, and made a wish that they wouldn't be disturbed. He also wished a mirror was in the room.
"So," Stacy said, "we're going to play again? Sounds like fun."
"I looked through the deck last night," Jon said. "Apparently the cards change randomly. So, we'll get a bit different cards this time."
"That's exciting," Patrick said in a monotone voice. Jon couldn't tell if he was happy or not.
"Well, let's get started," Karyn said.
The group sat around the table, and Jon dealt out the cards.
"Oh, I forgot to mention," Jon said. "We won't change back to ourselves for the entire day. No matter what we turn into, people will recognize who we are, but they won't question how we transformed." The group stared at Jon in disbelief.
"Oh, and if you try to leave," Jon continued, "there will be a consequence. Let's go five rounds. Shall we start?"
