Jon teetered on her heels, incredibly confused by what just happened. As the overwhelmingly intense light died down, she discovered she was no longer standing in the Gibson's suburban house, but instead in some sort of great hall. It was easily the size of a cathedral, and based on the various halls branching off of it, was only part of an even larger structure. The vaulted ceiling was easily fifty feet above her head, massive polished cherrywood beams supporting the white and pink marble clad roof. Columns of the same marble supported the structure at regular intervals. The floor she was standing on was covered in a long plush purple carpet, leading from where she stood, in front of an ajar set of large double doors, to a magnificent gilded throne sat at the far end. It looked to be crafted from and odd mixture of rosewood, gold, silver and ivory, making it look delicate and impressive all at the same time. Behind the throne, a gigantic stained glass depicting a woman with a shining crown coming ashore dominated the far wall, bathing the throne in a rainbow of filtered light.
However, she could only pay so much attention to her new surroundings, as she was nearly overwhelmed by the sensations of her newly transformed body. Her hair had exploded out of her scalp and grown glossy, descending down all the way to her bottom and she could feel the new weight of it when she turned her head. Her slight gut had vanished and her waist had slimmed while simultaneously her chest and butt expanded until she gained an hourglass figure. She wasn't able to investigate due to the new dress she found herself wearing, but based on the emptiness between her legs and the slight sensitivity of her new breasts she could only conclude she'd changed genders.
"Is everything alright, your grace?" Jon turned to see Amber Levine, a cheerleader at her school, looking at her with mild confusion and concern. Amber was physically as she remembered her, but she was wearing a version of a traditional maid outfit and looking at her completely deferentially. "Did you not wish to continue to your chambers?" Amber asked hesitantly. A cavalcade of thoughts raced through Jon's head; the stone was obviously the route of whatever happened, changing reality into this place, wherever that was. From Amber's, who seemed to be her servant for some reason, perspective she must have just stopped for no reason.
"Uh yes, I was just lost in thought. Let's continue on towards my chambers." She was surprised to hear her words emerge in a crisp mid-atlantic accent, not quite English but not quite American either. She desperately needed to regroup and 'her chambers' sounded like her room, where she could hopefully do that. Amber nodded, "Of course, Princess Juniper," and started walking off towards one of the branching passages, the newly christened Juniper following closely behind so she didn't get lost. They continued through the halls of what she was coming to suspect was a truly gargantuan castle. They stepped briefly into a courtyard before arriving at the base of an alabaster tower. Stepping inside, Juniper was surprised to find herself stepping into an elevator of sorts, having thought perhaps the world wouldn't have that kind of amenity.
After ascending high into the tower, the doors opened to reveal what looked like a fancy penthouse suite. A gaping Juniper stumbled into the room, soaking it in until her eye's landed on a floor length mirror. I'm beautiful... was the first thought that came unbidden to her head. Her face had morphed and changed into that of an elegant beauty, her eyes had become crystal clear aqua marine gems, and her body was, dare she say, hot. She was wearing a blue and white flowing dress, with gold and sapphire detailing. The top was a pseudo buckled jacket with loose sleeves and ruffled blue piece of neckwear. White opera gloves, gold and sapphire bracelets, dangling azure teardrop earrings, and a blue ribbon, pinned in her hair with a sapphire clasp, completed the stunning outfit.
