"I wish you had a nice doll box to go inside of," Jon said. His smirking grin crossed from ear to ear and Karyn couldn't believe what she had heard.
Jon, I'm you're best friend, how could you do this! Karyn thought, fighting down the terrible urges to be used. All this while a pink box manifested itself around her plastic body, trapping her behind a clear plastic sheet and cardboard, her body tied to backing board by twisty ties.
"Hey, I totally plan on fixing you, Karyn, so don't worry. But since I want to take my time and make extra sure you don't get stuck like this, I'm going to wait until tonight to change you back."
Karyn screamed in her mind as Jon left the room and got ready for school. More waiting, more trying to fight the synthetic, magic, desires of a love doll. So help her, Karyn thought about someone finding her. A guy, a girl, anyone, who would see her just as a doll; an object to be bought and used. And no one but Jon knew she was human, the stone having (probably) made the world believe she never existed. And the only person who could save her thought it would be funny to put her in a box.
Time slipped by as Karyn tried not to dwell on her potential new life as a doll, until she heard movement just beyond Jon's door. Had it been six hours? Was Jon already back? No, the sun was still climbing into the sky. And then she remembered that Jon's mom only worked part time, and that Thursdays were famously laundry days in the Black household.
If she still had a heart, it would have been caught in Karyn's throat. She had no idea what exactly the stone had changed, or how Jon's mom (if it even was her) would react to a top of the line sex doll. But Karyn couldn't escape the feeling that it would be bad for her . . .
