"You're home late," Zoe said to Karyn.

"The office was nuts," Karyn said, sighing, "but I'm home now."

Jon stared at his best friend, now wearing a version of his father's clothes. Her huge breasts were barely contained beneath the white dress shirt, unbridled by a bra. She and Zoe hugged familiarly, then kissed each other on the cheek lightly.

"Oh, hi Jon," Karyn said, as if she was noticing Jon for the first time, "Are you here to see Linda?"

He dumbly nodded, wondering how much of his world had changed with this one swap.

"Not that it wouldn't be nice to have a visit with my brother once and a while," Zoe winked at him, "but I know you and mom have a special bond. She's in her room, as usual."

Jon turned, leaving Zoe and Karyn chatting in the front hallway, and made his way upstairs to his former bedroom. At the top of the stairs Jon paused and adjusted his tight bra strap, totally useless to his body type, but nevertheless a vital part of his outfit swap. If he wasn't so worried about his family, he might actually be turned on by the idea of wearing Karyn's clothes. As it was, he couldn't take his mind off of the change.

He had been the provider for the family, the one who brought in the money. When he swapped clothes with Karyn, had she assumed that role? And if so, what did that mean for Jon? Was he no longer part of the family? Zoe had referred to him as brother, but that his presence there was a visit. Where did he live?!

Resuming his walk, he attempted to suppress the worry. Maybe he could get some information out of his mother. She was, after all, now his best friend.

"Hey Jon," his mother looked up briefly from her video game, acknowledging his presence.

"Hey, um, mom."

She grunted, then nudged a controller toward him, indicating that if he wanted to join her in the game, he was welcome. How many times had he done that to Karyn when she entered the room? How had it made her feel? As ignored as he felt right now?

"So, uh, I saw Zoe and Karyn downstairs," he began, only to be interrupted.

"Gross," she said, "Were they kissing again?"

"I guess a little."

"It's bad enough that my daughter acts like my mom all the time, but having to watch her make out with that girl is the worst. They should have some decency and get a room. There's not enough bleach in the world to wash that image out of my eyes."

"Karyn's not that bad," Jon said, wanting to defend his friend.

"Yeah I know I should be grateful," Linda rolled her eyes, mashing the controller, "blah blah blah she provides for the family when she could be off somewhere rolling in dough, but if she hadn't come here and hooked up with Zoe, we wouldn't have had to trade you to the Blacks for her. How awesome would it be to still have my best friend living here instead of that lame Karyn."

Jon was touched by the idea that his mother thought of him as her best friend. He and his mother had never been that close. Maybe this swap would give him the chance to get to know her better, even if this version of his mother was quite different.

That said, once she mentioned that he had been traded to the Blacks, his heart dropped. This swapping power, while it was the fulfillment of a fantasy of his, had removed him from his family. That was never what he had wanted. Now he'd have to live with Karyn's parents, in a new family, in a new house. He'd only ever known his own family, and he knew he'd miss it more than he had words for.

Jon sat down, adjusting his tight jeans as he did, and grabbed a controller. Linda was playing a fighting game, and once her character died, she'd switch the gameplay to 'vs.', giving him an opportunity to join in. He knew that back at Karyn's house, there were no video games. Since this one had always been a favourite of his, he figured he'd enjoy himself, before he had to go home.
