If anyone were to peer into the McMillan mansion's master bedroom, they'd discover a quite unusual sight. Susan McMillan was giggling like a schoolgirl as she tried on outfit after outfit in front of her floor length mirror. The former Kyla Leeson had quickly warmed to playing the part of the socialite and was thoroughly investigating 'her' new closet. Sure, the former highschooler was suddenly 35, but she was beautiful and attractive in a way she'd never been before. If her daughter was the queen bee of Lakeview Academy, Susan McMillan was the empress of Lakeview itself. Hell, her own mother was jealous of the heiress, as Kyla had heard countless times. It wasn't like it was forever anyway, just a couple of months, and Kyla was actually looking forward to them.
The same could not be said for her apparent husband, who was sitting glumly at the end of their bed, leafing his way through his file. Kyla was sympathetic, the former Karyn Black had aged significantly more, being now in her late 50s, and also saddled with a male body. Still, she hoped the other girl would perk up before they needed to be seen in public together. She didn't need some sourpuss spoiling her debut as Susan.
"Thanks Daddy!" Stu chirped as Mr. Vanderfield handed her a tall glass of lemonade. "Anything for you, sweetie," Gerald Vanderfield replied to his supposed daughter before ducking back in the Vanderfield house. Stu was currently sprawled out in Lily Vanderfield's body, wearing the girl's favorite emerald green bikini as she lounged on a pool chair by the Vanderfield family pool. She'd gone for a dip after getting back from her first tennis practice after school, and was now relaxing in the afternoon sun. The former pool boy had no clue what she'd done to luck out and get swapped with the spoiled brat of one of the families' whose house she cleaned, but she certainly wasn't complaining. School had actually been fun as Lily, both due to being popular this time around, and due to her new brain. While their minds had swapped, she realized she was still working with Lily's hardware so to speak, and found herself gliding through honors and AP courses where Stu had struggled in on level.
Speaking of Stu, "Oh, Stu, I think you missed a clump of leaves over by the far corner," She called out to the real Lily, who was currently cleaning the pool. Lily grumbled, but moved to try and snag the remaining leaves with his long net. Stu giggled, sure there might be hell to pay when they swapped back, but until then she was going to enjoy this little role reversal.
Roger McMillan's first day as Karyn Black hadn't gone at all how he'd expected when he found out he was swapping with his daughter's childhood friend. While he hadn't seen the other blonde around the house in some time, he hadn't realized the two had completely fallen out. He'd gone to try and sit with his princess at lunch, only to get a thorough tongue lashing for it. Susan had faired even worse when she tried, with the cheerleader reducing her mother to tears with her putdowns. The two had ended up sitting with two of the other YCIE participants, who both made for gloomy lunch companions. Really Roger thought as he hiked his way towards Karyn's house that afternoon, Sar-Bear is getting a real talking to after this is all over!
