After thinking about various things, Jon's thoughts returned to the stone itself. It was magic. Of that he was sure. Well, pretty sure. With the reality-changing stone you never could really know for sure. Well, unless he wished to know for sure. It wouldn't hurt, right?
"I wish to know if the wishing stone is magical." Jon made his wish and as soon as he finished it, he knew the answer.
It is.
That confirmation sent Jon's mind rolling. He now could confirm that magic existed. And if magical wishing stone existed, what else did? The very thought itself was scary. Who knew, maybe there was a whole secret magical society hiding magic from ordinary people? Maybe magical creatures lived among them and they never knew? Maybe there were actual magic schools out there? Well, okay, probably not like Hogwarts, but something like that. It could be that mages could even travel to whole different fantasy worlds or dimensions or something like that.
Jon simply needed to know more now. He always was fascinated by fantasy things. Stuff like Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy books like Witcher series or Lord of the Rings trilogy. Stuff like World of Warcraft game or dozens of other fantasy settings could be true. Creatures from all of those could be real. Succubi, vampires, minotaurs, centaurs, elves, fairies, genies and so on and on and on. Everything could be real!
Jon almost wished he knew magic right there and now, but he stopped himself. He already saw what happened when you didn't think out wish well enough and just blurted things out. He needed to be careful. Stone could grant him knowledge of magic, probably, but he needed to be careful how he worded the wish. Since reality would change according to it, it could result to his whole family getting magic or magic in whole town in the stone's range becoming common. He needed to think things through and decide on how best to proceed.
After a couple minutes Jon decided to...
