Back at Karyn's house Jennifer and Karyn were relaxing inside Karyn's room, just enjoying each other's company. After several minutes of comfortable silence Karyn decided to break it "You know, we should find out what exactly changed because of our wishes. Having no memories of this new life will bite us in the ass in long run." Jennifer nodded "Yeah, was thinking about that before we left my house. Just don't know how exactly to form wish to cover everything. Do you think that wishing to know what changed because of our wishes today would do it?" Karyn hummed in thought "It should... Because there was one major change in your life, it should cover everything. We could try that."
Jennifer nodded and opened the box, taking the wishing stone. "I wish that I and Karyn knew how reality changed because of wishes made today." the stone glowed brightly and they felt information rush into their minds.
Because Jon wished to have been born as a girl, she was named Jennifer, just like they already knew. Jennifer grew up being an active girl and was a bit of the tomboy, liking a lot of things boys liked, like computer games, comics, manga, action movies and so on. Jennifer even said that when she grew up she wanted to be super spy. Jennifer and Karyn met for first time when they were 6 years old. They quickly became best friends and played and spend a lot of time together. Both of them found out their powers when they were 10, playing in Karyn's house. Both decided to keep them secret and they trained together for years, becoming even closer because of the secret they shared.
Jennifer started to drift away from her family when she became 15 years old. At that age both Karyn and Jennifer discovered that they didn't like guys that way and that they actually liked girls. Where Karyn's parents were okay with that and supported their daughter, Jennifer's dad was not. Jennifer's mother didn't care about her daughter's sexual orientation and just wanted her daughter to be happy. Her dad, however, didn't like it. At all. He constantly told her that she is just confused, that it is just a phase and that she had to be 'normal' to not bring shame to the family. He even asked Jennifer to end her friendship with Karyn and find a nice boy she could marry instead. It grew worse and worse and even Zoe started to join her father in trying to make Jennifer 'normal'. Adam, Jennifer's father, even suggested Jennifer to visit psychiatrist to 'cure' her. It was one of rare times when Jennifer heard her parents argue and shout at each other.
It was quiet for a while after, though Jennifer's father started to treat her with disdain and Zoe joined him. Her mother tried to be supportive, but she couldn't change her father's mind. It became worse when Jennifer and Karyn became an item a year ago. When Jennifer came from school a day later, after saying goodbye to her new girlfriend, her father was waiting for her. He shouted at her and demanded her to end this foolishness and break up with Karyn. The very exact words were: 'End this stupid foolishness, girl. You are my daughter and no daughter of mine will be some lesbian slut. I can't believe you can bring such shame to our family. You will call that redhead bitch this very moment and break up with her. Then you will go to psychiatrist tomorrow so he could help to make you normal.' When Jennifer refused and told him that she loved Karyn, her father hit her in the face. That was the scene her mother walked into. Needless to say she teared her father a new one. Jennifer spent next few days at Karyn's place. After she returned home her father gave her silent treatment. He ignored her and when one day Jennifer's mother asked him to wish his daughter good luck at school he said this: 'I only have one daughter. That freak isn't my daughter.' Things only grew worse after that as Linda, Jennifer's mom, and Adam started to drift apart and argue a lot. Linda was even considering divorcing, but she didn't want to completely break their family. Her patience was thinning, though.
By now both Jennifer and Karyn had tears in their eyes from the memories playing in their heads. Maybe worse than the memories were the feelings they got for them. There were some good things too, though. Memory of their first kiss, their first date, all the fun they had together as couple and all feelings that went along with those memories made them happy. And then there was the whole mess with Madison family. Both Karyn and Jennifer could hardly believe how much different the life was because Jennifer was born girl. Though what they found about Jennifer's dad also explained why he treated Jon weirdly before the wishes. Seemed that Adam hated sexual minorities and he probably thought that Jon was too girly because his best friend was Karyn. That explained Jon drifting from his family too. It seemed to both Jennifer and Karyn that the wish just showed true nature of Jennifer's father much sooner and that everything that happened would have happened in old reality too, just maybe later.
Karyn hugged her girlfriend after memories stopped playing in their mind, comforting her gently. Jennifer was crying slightly, but Karyn could see to what great length Jennifer tried to not break down sobbing right now. Karyn could barely hold herself from tearing Jennifer's father into pieces, but Jennifer was more important now. All those memories and feelings from the wish was overwhelming the girl and Karyn needed to do something. She grabbed the wishing stone from bed and made short wish "I wish that my room was soundproofed and that no-one would disturb us for next hour." the stone glowed briefly and Karyn dropped it onto bed, hugging her girlfriend tightly and whispering gently "There, there. Let it all out. I'm here for you. I will always be there for you." she said and for the second time in a day she let Jennifer to just cry.
"A time too many..." Karyn thought to herself, gently comforting her girlfriend. She knew that Jennifer was nice person both before and after the wishes and Karyn loved that. But things will need to change. She won't let anyone make Jennifer cry this much anymore. She will become tougher and will make Jennifer tougher too. She will teach Jennifer to stand up for herself and don't care what others said or did. She will be there for her girlfriend and her parents will support them too. If needed be she could move in, they had a spare room. Dealing with Madisons will be hard, but Karyn will figure something out.
"No one will hurt us anymore. No one." Karyn thought with determination.
