Jon walked into the school, still thinking about his and Ember's conversation. She was right. He was afraid. If anyone knew about his wish to be a girl, at least for a while, his social life would go to all-time low. Not that it was in any good position right now anyways...
The stone, though... that was his ticket to happy and interesting life. Life he could share with Karyn... all he had to do was to sacrifice his manhood. Not a problem, right? Well, it honestly wasn't. He was only reluctant about whole thing because... well, he spent his whole life being boy. But it was a life that wasn't that interesting for him anyways. It didn't had any bright future either, at least in his opinion.
So yes, he considered becoming a girl. No, that is not right. Jon already decided he will become girl. Probably even today. He will just need to talk to Karyn before hand.
Speak about devil... He saw Karyn walking towards him with a smile "Hey, Jon-boy. How are you doing?" she asked after short hug. "I'm doing okay, how about you?" She shrugged "Had some trouble sleeping due to my 'extra features'. Did you bring it to school, by the way?" He shook his head "Left it at home. It is safe, don't worry. Wanna go there and hang out after lessons?" he asked. "Sure." she said and the two of them walked towards classroom.
On their way there, Jon and Karyn saw Sarah McMillan and her friends, laughing at nerdy girl. Allison Hollins, if Jon remember correctly. Karyn sighed "How could anyone be such a bitch all the time. Really, wish she and her friends had off switch..." she muttered and Jon nodded in agreement. "Sarah isn't actually a total bitch." Ember said in Jon's mind. "Really? I find that hard to believe." he said in return. "I said I scouted several people of interest, right? Sarah was one of them. A lot of her attitude is coping mechanism to deal with stress at home. Let's just say that her 'perfect' parents demand absolute best from their daughter. No siblings, friends that are with her only for social status and you get one angry teenager that takes her anger out on everyone else. Even her boyfriend Biff is with her just for money and social status. That and he gives her excuse to not come to home. It is arrangement of theirs. She gets some peace from her family and he gets bragging rights for dating the hottest girl in school. Win-win. She is actually still a virgin, believe it or not." Jon's eyes widened a bit as he listened and looked at Sarah with more attention. Now that he knew those things, it did seem that her attitude was a bit... fake.
Karyn looked at her friend "Jon, are you alright? You zoned out for a minute. Don't tell me you fell for bitch's charms?" He shook his head "No, just... It is hard to explain. As in it involves certain stone hard. I will tell you later. We only have lessons until lunch today, right?" She nodded "Right. Guess we will talk then." Jon nods and both of them enter classroom.
After school both Jon and Karyn met up and started to walk towards his house. "So, what happened with you in the morning? It seemed as if you had revelation of the century after you looked at McMillan." Karyn asked Jon. He shrugged "In a way I did. Because of one wish I made in the last evening I was able to find out that Sarah is faking her attitude. It goes like this..." he then retold what Ember said to him in the morning. Karyn whistles "Woah, so the evil witch is a bitch because her life is screwed up. Now I feel sorry for her... I can only imagine how much pressure she experiences. I saw her parents a few times. Stuck-up snobs." Jon nodded in agreement "Yeah and she needs to deal with them on daily basis. Can't believe I am saying this, but poor Sarah..." Karyn nodded "Yeah. Maybe we can help her out with stone? Sure, she was bitch to everyone, but damn... I still feel sorry after what you told. How did that work exactly, by the way?" Jon becomes a bit nervous "Well, it is like a... voice that tells me about people I concentrate on..." Ember giggled in his mind "Don't forget that said voice is sexy and alluring~" she purred "Not helping!" he yells in his mind, hearing Ember laugh.
"Oh? Interesting. Seems like useful ability to have. Wait..." she looked at Jon accusingly "Did you use it on me?"
Jon thinks fast on what to do and decides that he might as well confess "Okay, yes... I only found out one thing..." he says in apologetic tone "I'm sorry, I really am. It just drove me crazy for a long time now... and..." Karyn looked serious "What did you find out, Jon?" she asked seriously. "Err... well, only... your... er... sexual orientation..." he said quietly. A silent 'oh' formed on Karyn's lips, both her and Jon stopped walking now "So you know that I am a..." "Lesbian? Yes." Jon finishes for her.
Karyn looked and Jon's eyes then, trying to decide how to feel about this...
