"OF COURSE you need to date him!" Karyn shouted into her mobile, "This is exactly the kind of thing we need to get you to the next level!!"

Karyn was flabbergasted by Jon's behaviour. For as long as she had been his manager, he had wanted to see how far he could take his career. He was ambitious, talented, good looking, an unstoppable package. Karyn knew she could take him far, but so much of fame was based on luck, and not everyone had it.

Jon, it seemed, did. Chris Evans, one of Hollywood's biggest stars, had offered to take him on a date. It would be easy enough to tip off a few photographers and this thing would be huge. Everybody would want to know more about Jon. Where did he get that dress? Where did they meet? What movies will they be appearing in together? Is the relationship serious? Are these wedding bells we're hearing?

So what was Jon's problem?

"It's just that Scarlett and I kind of have a thing going..." Jon whined on his end of the line.

"That's all fine and dandy," Karyn interrupted, "for behind the camera. If you want to have your love nest and make babies, that's great. Chris is going to sell papers, and put money in the bank."

"But Karyn..."

"No buts! You're going on this date, you're going to enjoy yourself, and that's final!" Karyn hung up the phone angrily. She couldn't have her bread-and-butter client going off the deep end. It was time to cash in!

Send me time and location for date she texted.

Gotta line up pics she texted again.

Karyn smiled at her phone. If she played this right, she'd be set for life.

Scarlett felt conflicted. Sure, Jon and her had only hooked up one night, and maybe that was all it was, a 'one night stand', but it had seemed like so much more. She was hoping that Jon, herself, and Candy could meet up again that night for a repeat performance. The starlet didn't know what Jon's arrangements with the call-girl were, or how he got 'appointments', but she was eager to find out.

Now, however, she'd just found out that Chris Evans, Scarlett's co-star, had asked Jon out on a date. Conflicting emotions raged inside her. She was jealous of Chris, since she wanted Jon all to herself (well, she didn't really mind sharing with Candy). She was a little bit jealous of Jon, too, since Chris was such a stud. She'd watched him on set and had a few thoughts here or there about him. Her marriage had held her back, however, from making any plays. But now that her marriage was falling apart...

No, she wasn't that kind of girl. Jon was going out with Chris, and she was going to support her friend. She'd offered one of her own dresses for Jon to wear on the date, and she was going to follow through on that promise. It would fit perfectly, of course, since Jon's body was an exact duplicate of her own, with one small exception, of course.

But where did that leave her? Scarlett didn't know, and didn't know how to resolve it, either. Her emotions were jumbled. Since leaving her husband the day before, she'd emotionally attached herself to Jon. She even thought that she might love him. Logically she knew that she was moving too quickly, but she'd given herself to Jon body and soul less than one day earlier. Why was she being so generous about him going out with someone else?

Scarlett sat in her fold-out chair and watched the stunt Jon was filming with Chris. Her stunt double had begun speaking in Scarlett's voice while filming to help the other actors stay in character, which she was finding a bit unnerving. The other actors seemed to like it, though, and so did Joss.

Jon was racing a motorcycle toward a wrecked car at a break-neck pace. At the last second, he ditched the bike, allowing it to fly through the air and explode into an enemy. Jon flipped three times, then tumbled to the ground, rolled, and came to a stop straddling Chris (in his Captain America outfit) who had been knocked over in a fight.

"You alright, Captain?" Jon said in Scarlett's voice.

"Just a bump, Natasha," Chris said with a grin.

Jon climbed off of the big man and helped him to his feet.

"Good," Jon continued, "No time for laying around. I can't win this fight all by myself. Now give me a boost."

Chris bent over, leg Jon step his high-heeled feet into his hands, and threw him into the air.

"CUT!" came Joss' voice, "We've got it! Scarlett, why don't you come in for some close-ups. We'll just use Jon for the longs and mediums."

Again, conflicted emotions rose in Scarlett. Jon's non-stunt shots were going to be used in the movie?! She was only being used for close-ups? Jon was her best friend, and her lover, which made the sense of betrayal feel even more deep. Maybe Jon wasn't such a good friend after all!
