"My day was pretty terrible," said Jon. "I don't see how you could have done that. My friend is now my boyfriend. I have these things stuck to my chest and don't tell me you have them too because they don't look anywhere near as out of place on you. And everyone thinks I look stupid in a dress. If I'm a girl but I look like a guy with breasts, at least everyone knows that's not something I chose. But wearing the dress is something I chose."
"That's the point. You made Biff wear a dress."
"Biff did worse, Karyn. Lockers, remember?"
"Maybe Biff shoved you into the lockers because she had a crush on you and didn't know how to express it."
"Now, Karyn, first of all, you'd never say that if it was a guy hitting a girl. Second, Biff did it before when we were just guys."
"Really? I didn't know that. I guess I could have figured it out since you told me he did it yesterday, but it never occurred to me."
"You didn't know that?" Jon groaned. "Of course you didn't know that. As far as you remember, Biff has always been like that. Even though he's not any more, now that you wished it on me."
Jon stopped outside his room. "I was going to go in and change my clothes. But I think I have a way to fix this. Maybe. Karyn, I wished this on Biff. Then you changed it so that I wished it on myself instead. I really need to think creatively if I want to be able to fix it. Suppose I were, oh, to turn into a ghost and possess Biff. While I'm in Biff's body, then I make a wish that I have a vagina and breasts. Who gets them?"
"I don't know," said Karyn. "Wait... I see what you're getting at. If you're in Biff's body and you wish a change for yourself, the wish could work on the body you're using. Then you leave Biff's body and you're okay and Biff's back to normal."
"Hm?" replied Jon. "I make the wish, it changes Biff because I'm possessing him, then I leave and the change is still on him. What do you mean 'back to normal'?"
"I mean he has his boobs and girl parts again."
"Argh," said Jon. "I keep forgetting, that's how you remember him being. Okay, I'm going to do this. I wish that..." Karyn smirked. In response, Jon stopped in the middle of his sentence and held out his hand to Karyn. It was empty. He wasn't holding the stone and hadn't really made a wish. "Out with it, Karyn. I just wanted to see if you had something in mind."
"But I didn't..."
"Tell me, Karyn."
"Oh, all right. If you wish for breasts and you're in someone's body, they get the breasts. But if you wish that you decided to do something, does that affect you or Biff? It might affect you. You wished you decided to embrace your new gender. How's that going to work?"
"I don't know. Thanks for the warning. No thanks for the late warning. Please, Karyn, if you think I'm going to make a mistake, just warn me, okay? This is too serious a thing to just let me make mistakes so I'll learn."
Karyn nodded. Jon took the rock from his pocket and made his wish. "I want to have the power to possess people. This power wears off in five minutes. I already used it and I'm in Biff's body. The wishes that Karyn made me make on myself I made when in Biff's body, so they affect him. Also, Biff didn't hear them. Embracing my new gender does nothing because I don't have a new gender right now. I wish for all of that."
Jon disappeared. He was suddenly elsewhere, wearing an apron and standing by a sink in a kitchen, holding a plate and a sponge. Two big breasts pushed the front of the apron out somewhat. Jon raised a muscular arm, then lowered it. He glanced around to see if anyone was watching, then patted his pants between the legs. It seemed that the wish had worked as expected. He'd just have to stall washing the dishes for five minutes.
Meanwhile, Karyn picked up the stone. She sat down and waited for Jon to reappear. He soon rematerialized and immediately put his hands up to his chest, feeling around for breasts of unusual size.
Jon said "It worked, Karyn! The wish is back on Biff."
Karyn nodded. She spun the stone around on the table in front of herself, thinking....
