Double thoughts and double feelings, it was getting hard to concentrate. I... or we, could not focus. I tried, we tried, to say different, random things, but we always spoke at the same time. "Pickle... Blue... Harpy... Pot... It's not working." We each brought a hand, simultaneously, to out heads. The only thing different was the stone in my, in our, right hand.
"The stone!" We both said. Only one of us could feel it weight of the stone, but I could not tell who. The sensations from two minds, it was just overwhelming. "We... I needed to fix this." in unison we said out loud. I could not, we could not, handle thing anymore. Something needed to change before I or we went insane. Not having the ability to really think it through, we yelled out, "I wish we were completely separated, as two individuals."
A second later, the pain was gone. The confusion of two brains... it was just gone. I blinked a couple of times. Me, alone, blinked. I could still feel the weight of the stone in my right hand. "It worked!" I said out loud.
"It worked!" echoed a very familiar voice beside me, to the left.
Stunned, I looked to my left to see another head. "We're still attached!" I said, half panicked. Thankfully, the left head did not say anything, but his fearful expression mirrored my own.
"The stone!" the left head exclaimed. "We or you wished to be separate individuals, but with the first wish..."
"... we still have to look like this." I said finishing the other head's thought. Before something else could go wrong, I quickly dropped the stone on the desk in front of us.
