My grin faded when I realised something - without an eldest son to take the brunt of our parents' wrath there was the danger that we'd get delegated a sizeable chunk of the chores. I looked down at the stone thoughtfully.
"I wish we had an older brother and that he'd get treated like I was when I was the eldest child," I wished. Mikey's eyes widened in surprise, not expecting that wish. Once more our vision blurred and when it cleared we looked around expectantly. Except there didn't appear to be a change.
Mikey shrugged "Well he wouldn't be here now would he? Maybe we should go look for him?"
