"Zoe!" Zoe shouted, waving her arms to get her sister's attention. "Hey, ZOE!" she called out louder.

Mina turned and snapped. "That's not my name. Not anymore. That's your name, Zoe." Mina poked a finger at her sister.

"Oh come on cut the bullshit." Zoe hissed. "Fine you got me. You turned things around on me. Good job. You can't just leave me like this." Zoe fumed.

Mina grit her teeth. "You were going to."

"Newsflash, I was giving you those bets yesterday so you could swap yourself back, not to humiliate you," Zoe said, exasperated. "It's not my fault you kept losing."

"And it's not my fault you were so gullable." Mina says venomously.

"WHOA!" Karyn interrupts. "Mina, what's the deal here? You weren't this pissed yesterday."

"Karyn..." Mina begins. Her face contorts into a conflicted expression. "We can talk later."

Zoe cut in. "She wasn't some basic bitch yesterday. Now that she's 'normal'," Zoe accents the word with contemptuous air quotes. "She's just like those twigs in PE."

Mina scowled intensely. Her pretty face, now made up in a more conventional fashion, seemed less fierce to Zoe. The sisters glared at each other, before Mina twisted on her heels and walked swiftly away. Zoe took off after her, but Karyn stepped in.

"Zoe..." Karyn began, then shook her head, and corrected herself. "Jon, Zoe whatever. Let me talk to her. I'll try to smooth things over. Your 'Zoe' temper isn't helping things here."

Zoe chewed on the inside of her cheeks trying to hold back her frustration but nodded. She crossed her arms and glared as the taller blonde girl caught up to Mina, and started to walk next to her prodding her to open up. One flaw in Karyn's plan was the fact that they all took the same path home. Zoe walked only a couple yards behind them watching as Mina and Karyn talked. Their conversation seemed pretty enthusiastic at first, before Karyn glanced back at Zoe nervously, then back and Mina. Zoe could tell that Karyn was pleading her case, but things didn't look good.

Zoe fumed, and by the time they were all home, she'd resigned herself to being stuck as the hot-headed big-bodied goth little sister, at least until she could get the stone. That became her chief goal, regardless of what Karyn wanted.

It was a surprise to her then, when Mina with a big smirk on her face, turned around and faced her. "You know what sis. Karyn convinced me to cut you some slack," Mina said, her voice dripping with amusement.

A long expression drew itself across Karyn's face, and Zoe immediately knew this compromise was going to have a pretty high cost.

"You can consider that favor at PE payed for." Karyn stated sourly.

"Wait. What did you agree on?" Zoe asked.

Mina smirked. "Lets go inside, and I'll fill you in."
