...the demolished temple. Now I figured that because it appeared to be the biggest and most important temple that it might be the best option to find the path to the artifact.
The next morning, we set off to find the entrance of the destroyed temple. It was hard to find at first, but we managed to find it after rummaging through the rubble. It was quite dark but luckily, most of us had flashlights which helped us to see in the interior of this temple. Looking at it's decor, the temple did look like it belonged to either a ruler of the Aztec's or a King that had appointed himself as head.
As we continued forward, out of what looked like a destroyed throne room, I stepped through the doorway into the next room only to realize what I had just done...
