When Jon got back home, he went up to his room and waited for Karyn to stop by. The plan was for Karyn to go home, drop off her school stuff, then head over to Jon's house for more experimentation with the stone. And maybe they could even figure out a way to fix Karyn's "problem". Although, from Jon's point-of-view, it wasn't really a problem at all. If anything, Karyn looked better now than ever before. In fact, her changes made her that much more desirable. He had already had a slight crush on her to begin with. But now that she was as hot as Sarah McMillan (only with a better attitude), he was almost considering asking her out.
But why bother asking? He had the wishing stone. So why not use it?
He walked to the window to see if Karyn was in view yet. She wasn't, which meant that she was either still at home or on her way there.
Holding the stone, Jon said "I wish I was dating ..."
