I wanted to read the founding stories leading up to it, and after clicking on "Return to Parent Episode" more than a FEW times, found it was REALLY deep in there. Why did you start your story, in a branch that was already so deep? I'm just not inclined to have to read all that stuff that comes before it to get to yours, it looks like a lot of nuisance. Frankly I think you should start at or near "and so it begins", rather than piggybacking on the shoulders of others who stood on the shoulders of others who stood on the shoulders of others.... who stood on the shoulders of others who stood on the shoulders of others.... who stood on the shoulders of others who stood on the shoulders of others. It's just not something I want to invest my time in, familiarizing myself with the novel that came before it, in order to read your story. I am not the 1-offender by the way. I wouldn't give a 1 without a good reason. Don't overthink it. These parasites have nothing better to do. I'll bet they're too dumb to write their own stories without EARNING 1's, and so have decided to become critics instead. Don't expect any intelligent reason behind their actions, they're petty idiots.
I tried reading it without the context of reading all the stuff before it, and BOY does it need the context. And I just can't really say if it's any good. It's just a small sliver of a story. It doesn't stand on its own, so I can't really say whether it is good writing. Whether writing is good or not is determined by the whole thing as a complete work, IMHO. This is just not something I find desirable to read, but because of the time investment of even finding out if it's any good, I mean, what if I decide to stop reading before I even get as far as your contribution (which is the probable outcome). I restate, it's better to forge your own foundation. It's like the difference between making your own legit story, or writing a fanfiction, set in your favorite fandom. Some people are big on fanfictions, but I'll tell you this, if I'm lurking around the depths of deviantart for instance, as soon as I see a mention of Sonic the hedgehog, or pokemon, I stop reading immediately, I don't won't poke that shit with a 20 foot pole. It's better to make something original, and the further back from the beginning you start, the more like that it is.
