"I used the Other Side drug." The 20-year old girl did a spin, then smiled at Stephanie. "I'm one hundred percent female now."
"But why? Why would you do something like this?"
The female Rick frowned. "What do you mean? I thought you told me you wanted me to use it."
"What? Why would I tell you to get a sex change? I'm not a lesbian," Stephanie said.
"Yeah, I know that. But in your e-mail, you said that you'd use it too. This was a mutual agreement."
"I never sent you an e-mail, Rick." She turned away for a moment. "Ugh, can I even call you that anymore?"
"I'd prefer it. But if it's uncomfortable for you, call me Rikki. That's with an 'I'. It's close enough."
Stephanie sat down on the living room sofa and dropped her head into her hands. "I can't believe this is happening."
Rick, or rather Rikki, sat down next to Stephanie and put her arm around her. "It's okay. I can just take the drug again and turn back."
Stephanie removed her hands from her face and looked at Rikki. "I don't think it works that way. I think it's permanent."
"But you said in the e-mail that it wasn't."
"Rick ... Rikki ... how many times do I have to tell you? I didn't send you an e-mail about this."
"But it came from your e-mail address."
"It wasn't me."
