They were Jon's sister Zoe and her oddball friends, the outliers, first was Athena De Vries a dead ringer for Morticia Addams with her long, straight raven's Wing Black hair, pale complexion and tall, slim figure in her long black dress, she was beautiful, elegant and mysterious, she was also a practicing Wiccan with a knack for magic which she kept well hidden from others, next was Stephanie Szedovic, whose maternal grandparents were from Transylvania, so she claimed and were allegedly related to Vlad Dracul, most people assumed this was just her imagination. Stephanie was a little above average height with angular features and big dark green eyes, she was gorgeous but weird and wore a lot of Wiccan charms and talismans, she was also a devout Catholic but one which also followed 'The Old Ways' as she put it, then there was Zelda Greenstreet, she was a very different kind of oddball, she was obsessed with cyberpunk, Techno-horror and steampunk, she was not very tall, but her very long multi-coloured dreadlocks which had cables woven through them, her tendency to draw stars in make up on her face, and the glittery silver eye-shadow and lipstick she used as well as the strange mix of pseudo Victorian and eighties version of the future punk aesthetic made her stand out, oddly, she was the one that Jon got along with best as they both loved Sci-Fi, Anime and all things futuristic and strange, she'd even tried to talk Jon and some of his friends into playing the new Blade runner RPG with her.
Last but by no means least was Trinity Blake, as tall as Athena, as exotically beautiful as Stephanie and with touches of odd colours and retro- Future aesthetic like Zelda, Trinity was like an amalgamation of all the best bits of the other girls, and there was good reason for this, only last year, Trinity had been Trevor, a nerdy computer enthusiast who had a crush on Stephanie, however, this crush would prove to be what sealed his fate when he contracted MAV, soon, she became the perfect synthesis of the girl of his dreams and all her best friends, beautiful, dark, mysterious , a practicing Wiccan, a fan of the weird and the strange, , one good thing was that Stephanie, a lesbian, was delighted and, in helping Trinity to find her new place in the world the two fell in love and were now totally devoted to one another, however, this was why when Zoe and Trinity noticed Jon looking their way Trinity got worried.
"Sisters, I fear our Sisterhood shall soon grow, perchance we ought to avert the elder Gibson from his fate? I would liefer save him from an unwelcome change of demeanour."
"Chill Trin, if the Fates Will it, So Mote It Be!" Intoned Athena, "However, I leave this decision to you Zoe, do you want to try and stop this or shall we welcome a new Sister to our ranks? You know, with Jon in our ranks we could form a Four Point Circle, our Workings of Elemental Summoning would be all the better, Triads are good but Four is what we need for the Next Level".
Zoe pondered, having an older sister that loved the same things as she did would be wonderful, but, what of, later she got bored of all this stuff? Jon was a cool big brother, he left Zoe alone to do her own thing, he had offered her sage advise in the past and even stood up against bullies for her when they were younger, she loved her brother but this was a chance to gain a sister, Zoe pondered, then decided to put it to the vote, Stephanie was in favour, Trinity abstained, Athena was very much in favour and finally Zelda just flipped a coin , before saying she was cool with letting Jon join them, Zoe then went over to intercept her brother,
"Jon, stop, you know you have MAV right? Do you really want to end up like me and my friends? Take a moment to think about this - please!"
Jon, seemed distracted and kept looking from Zoe to her friends and seemed agitated.
"I don't know what this Mav thing is Zoe but, I cannot explain it, I neeeeeeed to go over there, you didn't cast a spell or something on me did you?"
"Of course not! <sigh> There's no stopping this is there? Very Well, So Mote It be, I will be there for you dearest brother, come on then,join us"
Taking Jon's hand in hers she resignedly walked back over to her friends, conflicted over what was surely about to happen.
The group has the following traits in common - all are female, most are of above average looks but are quirkily beautiful in an unconventional way, All but one is Wiccan, one is only an Apprentice Witch, the other three ( Stephanie, Zoe and Athena) are a full coven, led by Athena, Zelda and Trin are fans of weird fiction, Techno horror and Punk, Stephanie is a fan of Folklore and all are intrigued by Dark, Gothic tales, most favour dark, anachronistic clothes, two are even more outrageous. All have long hair, two have at least some strange colours in their hair and favour glittery make up. All are very imaginative, creative and have pale complexions and black hair. They are all very smart, many project a mysterious air and cultivate their otherness. Two are lesbians, two are bisexual, one is straight. Jon is going to end up a weird, mysterious beauty, probably still into girls, probably retaining his love of Anime and Sci-Fi but with a new appreciation for Magic and Horror , and will most likely become a devotee of the Wiccan faith.
As Jon joined the others they continued their conversation about The Sandman show, comparing it with the original graphic novel, this was something even the old Jon would have been interested in, so it was no surprise that he quickly fell into the conversation, what was surprising was how quickly he began to change, almost instantly, his hips widened, his ass expanded , his waist cinched in slightly and his male genitals morphed into female ones, in a few minutes Jon was technically female, her fate was sealed
