"So um... any ideas on who to change next?"
"Let's change you, Jon."
"Me?"
"Yeah!" Karyn's eyes shone. "Have you tried changing your mind as well as your body?"
"No..." Jon said thoughtfully.
"Well then do the full package! Make yourself attracted to guys."
"What? I can't do that!" Jon was incredulous. He was trying to get with Karyn, not anyone else. And especially not a guy.
"C'mon Jon-girl," Karyn pouted. "It'll be something new!"
"I don't know," Jon said.
"How about this, then," Karyn said. "Make yourself bi! So you're attracted to guys and girls."
Jon was still hesitating, but had an idea for his favor. "Okay," he said. "But you have to do it too, so that you're attracted to girls."
"Deal," Karyn accepted quickly.
"Okay, Karyn, be as attracted to women as you are to men. Jon, be as attracted to men as you are to women."
Jon waited, but he didn't feel any different. He looked around the cafeteria and his eyes fell on Doug, a tall black boy, a senior on the varsity basketball team. His arms were lean, strong but not too muscular. Jon found himself staring at his jawline and the way he laughed...
"Jon!"
Jon jumped. Karyn was laughing at his red face. Jon tried to hide his blush, but just smiled embarrassingly.
"God you're so cute when you smile like that." Karyn slapped her mouth closed, eyes wide above her hand. "I can't believe I just said that."
Now it was Jon's turn to laugh, he leaned forward, pulling down his shirt to reveal even more cleavage than he was already showing. He saw Karyn's eyes dart to his chest and stay there.
"My eyes are up here Karyn." Karyn jumped again, her face nearly as red as her hair.
"Wow, Jon." said Karyn. "This is new."
Jon noticed that her breathing was heavier and smiled.
