Suggestion

I love your additions so far. Even though it wasn't wished specifically, you could justify the changes by saying the mental/history changes took longer. If you wanted to effectively stop, have Jon's mom wish for it to slow down extremely slow. As for Karyn, harder to incorporate, but perhaps the wish still hasn't changed their friendship. It would be interesting to see Jon wake up and Karyn doesn't know Jon anymore.
