At first, Jon and Sarah braced themselves for what Biff was about to see, but as it turned out, they were doing more staring at him than he was doing at them.
"Biff?" Sarah asked, wondering if her boyfriend had lost his mind. Though given what they had found in the bedroom drawers and closet, maybe the whole world had lost its mind.
The star quarterback was just as muscular as usual, and it was him, though perhaps a few years older. But the rest of him? He had long curly hair and was wearing a flower-print summer dress and 3-inch heels. On his legs were skin-tone pantyhose, showing that his legs were completely hairless. His ears were pierced with small, but dangly earrings and there was a pearl necklace around his neck. Oh, and he was wearing make-up - eyes, lips, nails, all of it.
"Yes, Sarah?" he asked, wondering why she was staring at him like that. But then he became concerned when he noticed something about her. "Sarah, my goodness. When was the last time you went to a barber? I don't think I've ever seen a woman with so much hair." Then he did a double-take, looking at Jon. "Jon, honey, what happened to your hair? Did you chop it all off? You look like a woman with your hair like that." Then he made an unpleasant look, as his eyes traveled down Jon's mostly-naked body. "What the ... Jon, did you stop shaving your body? That's gross!"
"Are they here? What's the hold-up?" came another voice. Jon and Sarah recognized it as Tiffany Sanders' voice. She was one of Sarah's closest friends, and had the reputation of being the "school slut". A moment later, she came into the bedroom, shocking Jon and Sarah once again. She was dressed like a man, with clothing that downplayed her sexy figure. Her hair was very short, like a man's haircut. And she wore no jewelry or make-up. Like Biff, she was a few years older, but neither Jon or Sarah had ever seen her so un-feminine in their lives. "What the hell? What's going on with you two?" she asked, immediately taking notice of the state of their hair. "Sarah, we just went golfing together the other day. How did your hair get so long so fast? Is it a wig? Why are you trying to look like a man?"
Jon and Sarah hadn't put together all the pieces yet, but they were now living in some sort of reversed gender role world, where men acted and dressed like women (and were viewed as the weaker sex) and vice versa for the women. The reason that they still physically looked like themselves was because they were replacing the Jon and Sarah who normally existed in that world (who, by the way, were in their 20's, just like Biff and Tiffany). But if the normal Jon and Sarah were there, then where were the Jon and Sarah who were normally married to each other?
