Travis and his wife had been trying for a baby for almost the whole time they had been married without any luck. Travis decided that this stone could give them the child they wanted.
Holding the stone he said, "I wish that my wife Trisha Goldman was able to get pregnant through natural means without using any drugs or medical intervention. I also wish she was pregnant with a healthy baby and that she would be able to carry the baby to term and deliver it without any complications."
Suddenly the phone rang. Travis answered it and it was his wife, Trisha. She sounded really excited and said, "Travis, honey, I have some wonderful news, you have to come home right away!"
Travis had a pretty good idea what the news was.
As soon as he got home and walked through the door his slender beautiful wife ran up to him and placed her arms around him giving him the biggest hug her skinny arms could muster! She quickly led him to the bathroom where she proudly held up a pregnancy test with two blue lines and excitedly informed him she was pregnant. They hugged and kissed and basked in the joy of being newly expecting parents.
Then, Travis's bliss was shattered when his wife suddenly said, "Oh I can't wait to tell Dwayne he DID it! He's coming over in twenty minutes."
Travis was taken aback, "Dwayne? Who the hell is Dwayne?"
Trisha looked at her husband like he had forgotten what year it was or something and said, "Umm, Dwayne is the father, hun. I've been having sex with him for the past four months trying to get me pregnant? Ring any bells?"
Travis's head spun, fuck, he hadn't specified that HE be the father! Obviously Travis was the infertile one and the reason they hadn't gotten pregnant before. And since he wanted a NATURAL conception, the stone simply altered the past to make Trisha (and apparently himself prior to now) ok with her being impregnated by someone else.
Travis paced nervously around the house for the next 22 minutes waiting for this "Dwayne"'s arrival. Finally, the door rang and Trish ran up to answer it. Jon watched as the door opened and standing there was a tall black man in his early twenties! Trisha reached up and gave him a big hug and a kiss as she told him he was going to be a father. Travis was heartbroken.
He began to wonder if Dwayne was just a simple "donor" or if something more was going on here as the result of his wish...
