Meanwhile, Karyn was still walking home, when suddenly she needed to use the bathroom. It was too much of an emergency to wait until she got home, so she headed to one of those public restrooms near the picnic area of Chesapeake Park. She went in, did her business, then came out.
Everything was fine ... until she got an earful from a woman standing outside.
"What were you doing in there?" she demanded.
"Uh ... using the bathroom?" Karyn said.
"Are you some kind of pervert?" the woman asked.
"Excuse me?" Karyn asked, not understanding what this woman's problem was. She had no idea that this woman saw her as a boy ... a boy who had just exited the women's restroom.
