"Yeah," Thea replied, drawing out the words, "your girlfriend? The girl who took your virginity in the eight grade? The girl who's house you spent the night at last night? The girl who got you off twice before school this morning? Ring any bells?"
Karyn recoiled, a slight look of revulsion on her face. "Thea, I don't think this is very funny."
"Neither do I, babe," Thea replied, furrowing her brow. "What's going on?"
Some students had started to gather around them in the hall. The girls were there for the drama, looking for a new piece of gossip to spread at lunch. The boys were there hoping to catch another of Thea and Karyn's legendary hallway makeout sessions. Thea was a couple of inches shorter than Karyn, with short brown hair, but still curvy under the blue hooded sweatshirt and green cargo pants she had on. She wasn't quite on Karyn's wish-endowed level, but she was still considered hot by the male student body.
"I... I..." Karyn stammered, her eyes darting to the students that had gathered around them. She was more confused than ever. Why were they gathering?
Thea noticed what was going on and turned to the students around them. "What the hell is wrong with you," she shouted. "Get a fucking life and go bother someone else! Christ!"
With the class bell approaching, most of the students were easily shamed into moving along. A couple of the boys muttered discouraging remarks about the two of them as they walked off.
Turning back to Karyn, Thea walked up and spoke to her softly. "What's wrong, babe? You've never had a problem being public before?"
Before Karyn could react, Thea put her arms around the blonde girl, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed her on the lips.
