The next morning, Jon woke up to see Karyn standing in his room.
"Karyn! What are you doing in here?!" he yelled, as he frantically covered himself up under his bed sheets.
"Sorry I spooked you, Jon. But I really want to try out that stone. I've been thinking all night about what to wish for."
"Fine. You can use it. But first, get out so I can get dressed."
"Okay, Jon. Whatever you say." And she left.
Jon proceeded to get ready for school, not yet taking the time to check if the stone was still there. After all, why wouldn't it be?
