The three new gothic adults headed to The Witch's Brew, a local gothic coffee shop that they frequently attended (or so they thought).
Back at the Gibson house, Jon was panicking about the missing wishing stone and the magic wand he found in its place. Karyn was on her way over to help out. There was still enough time before school started, so they decided to look around the bedroom for it. Maybe it wasn't missing, maybe it just rolled under the bed or something (he hoped).
He grabbed the magic wand and looked at it. With the stone, he could just wish to know everything about the wand, but without it, he was almost completely clueless. All he knew was that it turned his mom into a Goth, similar to his sister Zoe. But other than that ... he had no idea what its function was.
The doorbell rang, grabbing his attention. That must have been Karyn.
Jon left his bedroom to go let her into the house.
