Jon was excited. For Halloween, he had made a bet with his sister's friend, Athena. There was an old patch of forest just outside of town, and rumor had it that the forest was haunted. Naturally, Jon didn't believe this was true, but Zoe, his little goth sister, and her creepy friend Athena, had insisted that the forest held ghosts, witches, or possibly even werewolves.
Jon always teased Athena about the forest, until one day she dared him to camp overnight in the forest. At first, he had just laughed her off, but she became more and more insistent, and claimed that his refusal was just proof that he actually believed the forest was haunted.
One thing led to another, and eventually Jon, Karyn, Zoe and Athena had all agreed to camp out in the forest together. Of course, to raise the stakes, Jon insisted that they do it on Halloween, because if there were monsters in the forest, that's SURELY when they would be the most active.
In reality, Jon was looking forward to sharing a tent with Karyn. He had made sure that there were two tents - one for Zoe and Athena, the other for him and Karyn - and he was trying to work up the nerve to tell Karyn that he liked her as more than just a friend.
Jon was loading his and Zoe's camping gear into the back of his mom's minivan when Karyn came over. She was wearing jeans and a tight t-shirt, and holding a large backpack over her shoulder. Jon couldn't help but notice how big and perky her boobs looked today. There was something different about them - and her hair - but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"Ready for a spooky night in the haunted forest?" laughed Karyn as she threw her backpack into the van.
"You bet!" said Jon, "I wonder how long Zoe and Athena will last before they want to go home." Of course, the plan was to make the girls stay all night long. Jon and Karyn had also planned a prank, where they were going to make some noises in the middle of the night to frighten the girls even more.
Soon, Athena and Zoe came along. Zoe had gone over to Athena's to help her pack; both girls were dressed in black jeans, black shirts, and were carrying black shoulderbags along with Athena's tent and backpack. They loaded up the car, and headed to the forest just outside of town.
