Jon woke up the next morning feeling great. Like he had a lot more energy, which was unlike him. Usually his Sundays consisted of waking up at 11, laying in bed until 12, showering at about 1, and then parking it on the couch until 10. Today though, seemed different. He was up and going in no time flat, and with a smile on his face no less!

Yesterday's career placement meeting was completely odd - it had to be some kind of mix-up. Placing him as a professional cheerleader? There was no way. He could barely run the mile in gym class let alone backflip! Not to mention him being a guy. He knew that he'd just have to play along for long enough for them to realize their mistake and get him a new card. He kind of felt bad for Brittney-Lynne though. She was so excited and upbeat about being his mentor. To her, he was the perfect cheerleader already, even on the first day. He couldn't remember the last time someone was so passionate about something - it was almost like he would be letting her down by switching out of the program. Her addicting smile and positive attitude really made that first day's session go smoothly, even if she was having him learn dance steps in an empty studio. It was too bad they wouldn't be together for much longer.

" and two and three and four." Jon's head continued to count off the steps as he did his chores. " and trash is up, and trash is out." He just couldn't shake that tempo, stuck in his head like a bad song. After a while, it actually was easier to do things to a beat, though, he surmised, and so rather than fight it, he just stopped paying attention to the repetition. Easy as that!

After he "three, four, five'd and pose!" on the couch, it was time to get back to the normal Sunday routine. TV. Thank God, Jon thought as he grabbed the remote, but was rudely jarred from his relaxation by the blinding brightness of a 10-million dollar smile and waves of bleach blonde hair right in front of his face. It was Brittney-Lynne.

"C'mon Jon, you don't want to miss day 2 of the best days of your life do you? We've got so much to cover! "
