I sighed as I looked into the mirror. The clothing that Lindsay had provided for me was far from what I would have picked, but it could have been far worse. A pull over pink sweatshirt, with a large CAC across the chest, and a pair of pink sweatpants. The two articles worked together to show off my new curves. She also gave me a pair of pink flip flops. It was obvious that the center had given these to her for when my change was complete.

"Why pink?" I asked. "Of all colors..."

"They only have blue and pink. Blue for guys, pink for girls." Lindsay said, entering the room. "And the guy sizes wouldn't fit you correctly now."

"I...guess that makes sense." I said, looking over at the clock on the wall. It was now 1:17. "Well, I guess I'm ready to go."

"Alright. Let's get going." Lindsay said. "First to your house, then the mall."

If I get my way, my house is as far as you go. I thought, following Lindsay out of her apartment.

She led me into the parking lot of the building, and over to a red convertible. I didn't know too much about cars, but I could tell this was a fairly high end one, and had probably cost a pretty penny.

"This is yours?" I asked.

"Well, I am a high class prostitute." Lindsay said, unlocking the doors. "I make quite a bit of money. And that's not even counting the porno's I do from time to time."

I climbed into the passenger seat and buckled up, a bit put off by Lindsay's bluntness. How could she be so calm about all of this. It was so strange.

She got in and turned on the car, the radio blasting out some pop music that I had heard before but never cared for. We made it about halfway to my house with the only conversation being the directions that I was feeding to my would be mentor.

"Jon, do you wanna talk about this?" she asked, turning down the radio.

I considered for a moment, actually saying what I was thinking. That this whole situation was insane, and that there had to be some sort of mistake in the job selection process, but considering that I was going to be able to fix this whole mess, I really didn't see a point.

"I'm fine." I said, forcing a smile. "Seriously. I'm just a bit tired and sore. I guess the process of having your whole body altered takes it out of you."

I could see Lindsay looking at me, and it was obvious that she didn't fully believe me. I flinched away a bit, hoping that she wouldn't use that damned phrase that the center decided to code into me.

Luckily, she seemed at least somewhat content with my answer, and turned up the radio and went back to focusing on the drive to my house.

As we finally pulled up to my house, I glanced at the car's clock. 1:42. The ride had taken longer than I would have liked, but we made it with plenty of time. Zoe wouldn't be home until a bit after 2:30, mom and Mikey would be gone until 3:30, and dad would be gone until almost 6. I had more than enough time to fix this mess.

I opened the door and got out of the car. "I'll run in and grab the check. Should only take me a couple of minutes to find it." I said.

"Maybe I should come with you..." Lindsay said, turning off the car.

"N-no, that's really not necessary." I said. "Um, the house is kind of a mess right now, and my mom wouldn't forgive me if I let someone in to see it like that for the first time. I'll only be a minute, I swear."

Lindsay smiled a bit. "Alright, I understand." she said. "But try to be quick. I don't want to keep you out too late if you're so tired. Oh, and the check is probably in your room. That's how they usually do this."

"I'll only be a couple of minutes." I said, turning toward the house and heading up the walkway. I reached into my pocket and produced my key, and opened the door. Stepping inside, I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright, Jon. Made it through that with no real problems." I said, heading over to the stairs and heading up them. I was pretty proud of the way I had handled this whole situation. It helped knowing that I had an all powerful magical artifact at my disposal.

Once at the top of the stairs, I headed over to my room and entered. It was odd, seeing my closet doors open and there being nothing inside. I imagined that my dresser would yield similar results. Looking on top of my dresser, I saw the box that contained the wishing stone. The object that not only started this whole mess, but would also be able to get me out of it.

walking over, I opened the box and looked inside, the whole while thinking of exactly how to word my wish.
